Day 1: From Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve
From Jomo Kenyatta Airport, meet your Kenyan safari guide for briefing about your trip. Later, drive for 5-6 hours to the Southwest, Narok county in Kenya to visit Masai Mara National Reserve.
Have an incredible en-route view of a lush and breathtaking landscape with green vegetation. Arrive early to check in at lodge for relaxation and overnight.

Day 2-3: Exclusive game drive & wildebeest migration experience
On all the two days of game drive and wildebeest migration experience in Masai Mara, your day starts with breakfast. Expect to keep an eye on a range of wildlife from wildebeest, elands, giraffes, big five all living in the same habitat, birds, antelopes, zebras, etc. Overnight stay will be in the pre-booked accommodation at Maasai Mara Reserve.

Day 4: Travel to airstrip, fly to Entebbe Airport
Rise up early, enjoy leisurely breakfast, after, continue to the airstrip to catch up with connecting flight to Entebbe airport in Uganda.
Meet Uganda driver guide for pick up and transfer to the hotel or have brief city tour -visit UWEC or botanical gardens.

Day 5. Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable forest National Park.
Begin your Wildlife safari with an early breakfast in Kampala/ pick up from the Air Port. Your guide will take you up from your accommodation and drive you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through the Mbarara-Masaka Highway. The travel from Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park takes between 6 and 9 hours, depending on the area of the park you follow gorillas from. You will make a halt in Kayabwe, Mpigi district, to see the equator monuments. These two equator monuments trace the equator’s path across Uganda.
You’ll then proceed to the Igongo Cultural Centre for lunch. This enormous cultural center is about 12 kilometers from Mbarara Town and is a wonderful stop for many visitors en way to western Uganda. The Igongo Cultural Centre first opened its doors to the public in 2010. While you’re here, take a quick look around the centre’s museum, which has a lot to say about Western cultural past. You may also stop by the Nkwanzi crafts and bookshop to pick up a few mementos for yourself and proceed to your destination.

Day 6: Mountain Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi & Batwa Tour
After breakfast, your day’s gorilla trekking tours excursion will begin when you report at the park headquarters for a briefing on the gorilla tracking etiquette. It is after this meeting that you will transfer to the Impenetrable forest with your picnic lunchbox to commence a 30 minutes – 8 hours hike in quest for the prized mountain gorillas.
There are 4 areas for gorilla trekking in Bwindi -Buhoma, Rushaga, Nkuringo and Ruhija.
After brief, set off for actual search for gorillas at 8:00am, and expect to take 2-6 hours in the forest but it includes one hour of magical encounter with family of mountain gorillas. When you return, get a gorilla trekking certificate and in the evening, relax at the lodge or go for a guided cultural tour in the Batwa community.

Day 7: Transfer back to Kampala or Entebbe – Departure
After breakfast, check out of the accommodation and with packed lunch, transfer to Kampala or Entebbe. This marks the end of 7 days Kenya and Uganda safari.
