6 Days Big 5 and Gorilla trekking Safari

This 6-Day Big 5 & Gorilla Trekking Safari takes you to volcanoes national park which is a UNESCO heritage site for gorilla trekking, Akagera National park for both wildlife viewing and you will also enjoy scenery viewing as you travel. Day 1: Arrival At Kigali International Airport On your arrival, you will be welcomed by the company guide, who will transfer you to your respective hotel in Kigali, you will check-in at your lodge and relax for the evening as you prepare for a transfer the next day. In case your arrival time is early enough, you can opt for a city walk around Kigali on your first day of 6-Day Big 5 & Gorilla Trekking Safari. Meal plan: Lunch & Dinner Day 2: Transfer To Volcanoes  National Park Have breakfast early in the morning, and after the guide will pick you from your hotel to start your transfer to Volcanoes national park on your second day of 6-Day Big 5 & Gorilla Trekking Safari. this journey takes about 4-5 hours, passing through the beautiful landscapes viewing the beautiful scenery, this experience is thrilling where you get to sped one hour with the gorillas. later in the evening you will have a cultural experience by the Iby’lwachu village, you will have an opportunity of participating in the cultural dances with the indigenous people of Rwanda Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Day 3 Exploring Volcanoes National Park. Golden Monkey Trek and Cultural Immersion Start your day with a breakfast before begining on an exciting adventure, in Volcanoes National Park. Enter the forest to experience the captivating monkey trek. These mischievous primates are native to the Albertine Rift. Observing them frolic about is a delight. Traverse through the forest following their movements and relish a hour in their company. In the afternoon dive into the culture by visiting a neighboring village. Engage with the community discover their traditional way of life and participate in cultural activities like traditional dances, basket weaving or storytelling. Gain insights into Rwandas cultural heritage and understand the significance of community based tourism initiatives. As evening falls return to your lodge for a dinner and some well deserved relaxation. Day 4 Have morning breakfast at your lodge, after you will start your transfer to Akagera National park. It is named after the Akagera River that flows along its eastern boundary and feeds into a labyrinth of lakes of which the largest is Lake Ihema. In the afternoon hours, you will have lunch at the lodge and later head to the plains for and evening wildlife encounter. Look out for interesting wildlife that include elephants lions, leopards, buffaloes, and rhinoceroses,etc. alongside many other fascinating animals. Other residents included giraffes, zebras, hippos, crocodiles, antelopes, monkeys and hyenas. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Day 5. Day 5; Akagera National Park. Boat Safari and Farewell Start your day with a breakfast before begining on an unforgettable boat safari on Lake Ihema, which happens to be the lake in Akagera National Park. Cruise along its shores observing hippos, crocodiles and an array of water birds. Immerse yourself in the tranquility of the lake while witnessing wildlife encounters from a vantage point. After this captivating boat experience bid farewell to Akagera National Park. Begin your tour back to Kigali. If time permits, consider visiting the Genocide Memorial Museum in Kigali to gain insights into Rwandas past and witness its reconciliation efforts. In the evening you will relax at your hotel and make preparation for the completion of your safari. Day 6. After your morning breakfast, you will be transferred to Kigali International Airport for your onward travels marking an end to your adventure, in Rwanda.
