6 Day Samburu and Masai Mara Kenya safari
Day 1: Nairobi-Samburu Game Reserve
Pick up from your hotel at 7am and depart for Samburu to arrive for check-in and lunch. Samburu is home to the special 5; the reticulated giraffe to Grevy’s zebras, Beisa Oryxes, Gerenuk and the Somali ostrich. Have a short rest followed by an afternoon game drive until sunset.
Dinner and overnight at Samburu Simba Lodge (LD)
Day 2: Samburu Game Reserve
The full day will be spent in Samburu with a morning and afternoon game drive and enjoying the facilities. The wild and rugged Samburu is fiercely beautiful with its arid savannahs watered by the lovely Uaso Nyiro River. Visit to Samburu village.
All meals and overnight at Samburu Simba Lodge (FB)
Day 3: Samburu- Lake Elementaita
Have breakfast and drive to Thompson Falls for a lunch stop and thereafter depart for Lake Elementaita to arrive for check in the rest of the afternoon will be spent at the lake shore watching the flamingos as the graciously float on the lake looking for the algae.
Dinner and overnight at Sentrim Elementaita Lodge (FB)
Day 4: Lake Elementaita-Maasai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast and with lunch boxes depart for Maasai Mara via the dramatic landscape and the plains inhabited by Maasai pastoralists to arrive for an afternoon game drive until sunset and proceed to your camp for check in and dinner.
Dinner and overnight at Enkorok Mara Camp (FB)
Day 5: Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Full day will be spent in Maasai Mara where at 8am collect packed lunch and depart for a full day game drive. Break for lunch at a picnic site near the river followed by an afternoon game drive to your camp and the rest of the evening will be spent at leisure. Visit to a Maasai village.
All meals and overnight at Enkorok Mara Camp (FB)
Day 6: Maasai Mara – Nairobi
After breakfast and with lunch boxes depart for Nairobi where your safari ends with a drop off at the hotel or airport. End of our services.
