Day by day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
- Morning: Upon arrival for your 3-day Bwindi Gorilla Tour, you will be welcomed by your safari guide who will brief you about the tour and transport you to Bwindi via Kampala-Masaka-Mbarara road.
- Equator stop and Lunch: As you enjoy the gorgeous trip, you will have a stopover at the equator (Kayambwe town) for photographs before continuing to Mbarara for lunch.
- Evening: Arriving late in the evening and settling into your lodge for the night as you get ready for the gorilla adventure the following day.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and evening visit to the Batwa.
- Morning: Rise and enjoy your breakfast to boost your energies for the gorilla adventure, Leaving the lodge with a packed lunch, drive to the park headquarters for the briefing on the trekking rules and guidelines to guarantee a safe and eco-friendly experience.
- Briefing: Following the briefing, you will be separated into small groups of eight individuals, guided by professional park rangers and gorilla trackers, and assigned to follow a specific gorilla family.
- Trekking: At approximately 8 a.m, you will go on an exclusive hike into the thick jungle, followed by rangers who will follow mountain gorilla tracks. You will enjoy an hour beside the gorillas in their natural environment and learn about their incredible lives. After the trekking, return to the lodge, relax around the lodge
- Batwa cultural experience: You will later visit the batwa community in Bwinsi, who will lead you through their culture through song, dance, and storytelling, followed by supper and relaxation at the booked lodge.
