On your arrival, our safari guide will pick you up minutes within landing, you will therefore be briefed of your safari and transfer you to Wilson Airport for your flight to the Mara. This flight is usually a one-hour flight arriving in Mara for lunch.

After checking in at the lodge and having lunch, you will prepare for an evening game drive where you will encounter some of the wild creatures as they chill from either hunting their prey or relaxation. Your experienced guide will drive you through the open plains, allowing you to have great views of the rhinos, elephants, gazelles, impalas, buffaloes, and giraffes until around 6 pm and later return to your accommodation to rest for the day.

After your morning breakfast, your driver guide will pick you up for the breathtaking scenery and wildlife in Mara for teeming wildlife and tranquil ambiences.

For a morning game drive, it is easier to locate Wildlife as they get to catch their prey. You will be able to see the Big Five, hippos, wildebeests, giraffes, gazelles, hyenas, impalas, zebras, wild dogs, and scatter all over the plains.

Your morning game drive pours into the afternoon, and it is then that the guide takes advantage of the slight plains to set you a picnic site to have your packed lunch.  A more profound exploration of the park follows after lunch with your guide leaving no inch of the 1,510km2 park unturned before you return to your hotel. 

Dinner and overnight at Mara Serena Safari Lodge or Sarova Mara Game Camp  

This is another day full of wildlife viewing. It is also the day you get to experience a hot air balloon ride and float over the Masai Mara plains as you watch the game. You will be delighted to see the 'Great Migration' while flying above the African plains. The wildebeest and the big 5 with numerous wild animals like  buffalos, hippos are a must see on this day.

You may choose to have a walking safari as well. The driver-guide will be readily available to discuss your daily activities depending on your preferences.

Dinner and overnight at Mara Serena Safari Lodge or Sarova Mara Game Camp.

The day starts with a morning breakfast, and then the guide takes you to the jungle after the hotel checks out. 

The game drive lasts until approximately 10 AM, After your driver guide will transfer you to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi. Upon arrival, you will be met by one of our office representatives who will transfer you back to the hotel or airport in Nairobi to end your safari.

Note; We strongly recommend booking a balloon safari in advance, for it being a very popular activity and gets booked out early (especially during peak season). Please remember to bring some warm clothing, and a bag in which you can secure camera, binoculars, and other personal items.
