Upon your arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will meet your Wilder Africa Holidays driver and proceed to your hotel for a relaxing overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will do a city tour in Kigali. Known as the “land of a thousand hills,” Kigali’s lush, rolling landscape is as vibrant as its culture. Named in 1907 by Dr. Richard Kandt, the city opens its heart through visits to its colorful craft markets, the Kigali Museum, and the Gisozi Genocide Memorial—a profound journey into Rwanda’s history and resilience.

You will later proceed to Volcanoes National Park where you will check in at your Hotel, Lunch and Dinner, plus overnight

After breakfast, you will move to the park headquarters where your guide will complete the essential official procedure of briefing.

You will then meet your ranger guides for a briefing about gorilla tracking in the volcanoes national park. This exercise is to prepare you for the great lifetime experience of the natural beauty which starts with the first phase of tracking in the tropical forest that will provide comfort to fill the natural cool breeze of the park.

One you meet these Gorillas, you will spend one hour with them as you take pictures and learn more about the way they live. After your gorilla trek activity, return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Enjoy a second gorilla tracking day which aims at exhausting the different gorilla group, different from the one of the day before. By so doing, get a chance to trek while identifying each gorilla in the gorilla group by name to the extent that at the end of the day you can be able to know their differences and what brings such differences between the groups you have tracked.

Enjoy a bush or forest lunch before returning to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, you’ll set off on a scenic 2–3-hour drive back to Kigali, savoring the beautiful Rwandan landscape one last time. Once in the city, enjoy the chance for some final shopping in one of Africa’s friendliest capitals, where bustling markets and charming boutiques offer unique souvenirs to bring a piece of Rwanda home with you.

Take in the vibrant atmosphere and the warmth of the local people as you reflect on your journey. Finally, you’ll make your way to the airport, filled with unforgettable memories, ready for your onward flight home.

You can also opt to do golden Monkey trekking or Hiking before travelling back to Kigali, all these activities must be booked in advance
