After your breakfast, you will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is home to almost half of the world’s most endangered mountain gorillas. Trekking mountain gorillas is a once in a lifetime experience and seeing them in their natural habitat is truly rewarding. You will arrive at you lodge in time for relaxation.

Later on in the evening avisit to the Batwa community can be arranged where you can get to learn about the fascinating culture of the forest people displayed through folksongs, music, dance, and drama,

Dinner and overnight at Rushaga Havens Lodge

On this day your guide will pick you up early so that by 7am you will be at the Park Headquarters for the pre-tracking briefing on the gorilla trekking guidelines. Hiking into the jungles in search of the gorilla family you were allocated to starts at 8am.

You will trek from half an hour to 6 hours depending on the location of the gorilla family but you are allowed to spend only one hour with these Giant Apes.

After one hour of interacting, taking photographs and excitement, you will then ascend to the starting point where you will be awarded certificates upon completion of your trek and proceed back to your Lodge to Relax.

Begin your drive back to Kigali, enjoying the last views of the Ugandan landscape. Stop for lunch along the way at a local restaurant. Arrive in Kigali, where you can be dropped off at your hotel or the airport for your departure.
