This is a 3 Day Rwanda Mountain Gorillas & Golden Monkey Trekking Safari Conducted Exclusively for Trekking the Endangered Mountain Gorillas & Golden Monkeys Which are Found in Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda. Upon the Trip Some of the Included Adventures Involve But not Least to a Visit to the Genocide Museums in Kigali and Pay Tribute to the More than 1,000,000 People Who Lost their Lives During the Genocide of the 1990s

Itinerary

Upon arrival in Rwanda you will start this Rwanda Mountain Gorillas Safari by touring the city of Kigali during which you will visit the Genocide memorial sites where more than one million people lost their lives during the genocide of the mid 1990s in Rwanda and listen to the horrific story of how people were cruelly put to death.

You will later transfer to Volcanoes National Park in northern Rwanda and check in at the Hotel booked for you in Ruhengeri near the park.Dinner and Overnight

You will have an early breakfast and transfer to the National Park headquarters for a briefing at 8:30am on the rules to be observed during Gorilla trekking. You will be allocated a Gorilla family to trek and guides to lead you to the Gorillas. The trekking will be a 2-5 hour exercise and upon sighting the Gorillas you will spend one hour with them.

Dinner and Overnight.

You will have breakfast and move to the Park head quarters for a briefing on the Golden monkey trekking rules before going out to track them in the forest. The trek takes 1 – 4 hours and you have one hour to stay with the Golden monkeys once found. You will later transfer to Kigali for overnight or straight to the airport for your departure flight.
