Our trusted safari guide will pick you up in the morning from the airport or your hotel in Kigali. After briefing you about the tour, you will have a tour of the Kigali city where you will visit the city markets, Kigali genocide museum, the former presidential palace, a few art shops and other landmarks.  You will have lunch from one of the best restaurants in town which serves both local and international dishes.

Later in the day After completing the city tour, you will leave for Akagera national park with a helicopter to Magashi in Akagera National Park where you will dine and relax for your next day activity.

Dinner and Overnight at Akagera Rhino Lodge/ Widerness Magashi Camp

After your morning breakfast, you will be escorted by your driver guide to the designated airstrip for a Scenic Rwanda wildlife Helicopter experience.  Helicopter view experience ranges from 30 minutes to two and a half hours, this implies that visitors should be attentive to watch out for the vast wildlife like hippos, Impala, warthogs, Topi, Zebras, spotted hyenas, giraffes, buffaloes, crocodiles, elephants and birds which are found within the park. The park Guide will play an important role in helping locate the lions, Rhinos and other elusive creatures.

In the afternoon, you can choose to go for another game viewing before the night game drive if you wish or go out specifically to spot the birds. Akagera is one of the top birding destinations in Rwanda with over 500 species recorded including the Papyrus Gonolek and Shoebill storks. The best place to spot the birds is at the vast wetlands found in the park.

You will also do a boat cruise on Lake Ihema, to see wildife like Crocodile, Hippos and many more

Today, Wake up at your leisure, take breakfast and clock out. Your driver guide will be waiting for you to drive you to the air strip to catch your flight back to Kigali as you mark the end of your luxury 3 day-tour to Rwanda.
