Upon your arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be welcomed by our professional tour guide who will take you for a city excursion in and around Kigali. This is to enable you orient yourself with this great country of ‘a thousand hills’. After this excursion, you will proceed to Volcanoes National Park located in the North of Ruhengeri via undulating and beautiful terraced hills which shows a clear picture of the general landscape and altitude of Rwanda.

Dinner and Overnight at Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge/Da Vinci Gorilla Lodge

After early morning breakfast you will be picked up by your guide from the hotel to be ready the park headquarters in Kinigi at 7 am, registering will take place and allocation of gorilla families (done by your guide) as you will be having a cup of coffee and then after you will drive to the trailhead to start your gorilla trekking adventure in the rain forest, this can take from 2 hours to 6 hours depending on how long you take to find the mountain gorillas and after you will spend one hour with the gorillas  upon return you will be transferred to the lodge for relaxation

Lunch: packed lunch or hot lunch depending on the time of return.

Dinner and Overnight at One & Only gorilla nest, Singita Kwitonda lodge or Bisate Lodge

After breakfast in the Morning, your driver guide will pick you up from the Hotel and start travel to Lake Kivu, you will start with a city tour in Kigali city you will visit the Genocide memorial and Kimironko market you will proceed for Lake Kivu arriving in the evening. You will check in at the lodge for relaxation followed by dinner and overnight

After your breakfast, you will depart to Lake Kivu for a boat cruise you will later get back to the lodge for relaxation and in the evening you will have an optional cultural experience and return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.Dinner and Overnight at Kivu Serena Hotel

After breakfast you will bid farewell to the lodge and embark on your vehicle, drive to Kigali or airport to catch up for your flight back home
